This new installation focuses on innovative and interactive elements that explore the physics, technology, and business behind music and the music industry as a whole. This component of the exhibit includes 33 hands-on activities, props and memorabilia that are action-packed, fast-paced and fun, yet highly educational. The different areas: Rehearsing, Composing, Recording, Listening and Performing, all showcase the different areas that will provide each visitor with their own educational and musical experience. Family Fest
The Adrienne Arsht Center will present Family Fest, a free series featuring family-friendly out-of-doors activities and performances. The performances, hands-on demonstrations, and mini-workshops will provide active and engaging opportunities for parents to share with their children, while introducing "up-close" involvement in the performing arts. Pablo Cano: The Blue Ribbon
Featuring his marionettes created from found objects, Miami artist Pablo Canos new multi-media production, The Blue Ribbon, is his first to include film animation and audience participation. In this collaboration with Miami artist and filmmaker Clifton Childree and choreographer Katherine Kramer, Canos marionettes take the form of 10 masterpiece paintings and sculptures from art history, which come to life and interact with members of the audience. The Blue Ribbon is Pablo Canos 11th annual production commissioned by MOCA and is inspired by a 1969 childrens story by the artists mother, Margarita Cano. Endangered! 12:30 p.m. During this animal show, Museum visitors will get to meet some living endangered species up close and personal. We will also discuss how to help save those animals, and why they are endangered in the first place.
Recycle Relay Race 1:30 p.m. During this fast-paced race, kids of all ages can see if they can out-sort, and out-recycle the other team.

Guest Speaker Dr. Heike Lueger is an accomplished environmental scientist having worked with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Marine Aquarium in the United Kingdom, the Bermuda Institute for Marine Sciences, and many other groundbreaking organizations. Dr. Lueger is now the Chief Environmental Scientist for Carbon Solutions America, which provides custom-tailored solutions for greenhouse reduction options for companies of all sizes.
