14th Annual Inter-Continental Make-A-Wish Ball
Guests attending the 14th annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball can expect their experience to begin the minute they arrive at the InterContinental Miami’s limo-lined porte-cochere. The excitement continues throughout the mezzanine reception with elaborate silent auction items. The Ball builds up to a glittering crescendo in the Grand Ballroom where the most glamorous and big-hearted philanthropists will be utterly dazzled by what awaits them. In its 13-year history, the InterContinental Make-A-Wish Ball has raised in excess of $6 million. 2nd Annual Wild About Kids Gala
Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade has announced its Second Annual Gala featuring a "Wild About Kids" theme at the bold new Eden Roc Hotel. The organization will be one of the first groups to use the facilities after the completion of the venue's $180 million renovation and expansion. The gala, chaired by board member Olga Guilarte, will be emceed by WSVN's anchor and Deco Drive host Lynn Martinez. The event will be represented by a special colorful image created by Miami's own famed artist Romero Britto. There will be musical entertainment by Jerry Wayne's Private Party Band, a special performance by children from Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and a silent auction featuring something for everyone's taste. A Child is Missing 4th Annual Tour D’ Vine
A Child Is Missing Alert Program is a non-profit organization that assists law enforcement in the early search and recovery of missing children, the elderly (often with Alzheimer’s) college students living on campus and the disabled in the first hours of their search.
